How to Draw: Observing the Pieces that Make up the Whole

We talked about Shape. Observing how shapes make the pieces - that make the whole.

Students picked a picture to study, visually "piece apart", and draw.

Most decided to add outline and color.  We mounted them on to poster board.  It was so quite in the room - hard to believe there were 17 kids!

Even the youngest students got into this. Gladly, I didn't sense any frustration.
