Alexander Calder in 3D
We read Alexander Calder's Circus book and got inspired to set out making our own Sculpture.
Our Rocking Stabile materials: Clay, Wire, Rocks, buttons, thread, wood, pipe cleaners and more....

My favorite part was watching them present their sculpture to the class - I'm glad we had time to do this.

Early February: City Skylines, Texture and Gray Scale
| Students first designed their Skylines using white paint on a background of their choice. |
Before the Paint dried they added texture to buildings etc... using a variety of tools.
Water Color was then added. The texture created with the white appeared with this step.
I just love how each City is SO unique!
A Kindergardner's City makes me smile!
