Discovering Gesso on Wood

After the gesso set of 10 minutes we added a bit of texture

We got to work outside  - which was glorious!

Next step will be to add watercolor

We studied and drew Peacocks first

Even the Kindergarteners turned out with a lot of personality

A different way to make a mono print

With colored card stock each student cut out shapes that made an image

We made prints on coated paper and flat
The corrugated cardboard added a nice touch to the finished monoprint.
